We held a colloquium on the theme “The Self and Others in Western Philosophy” with a lecture by Dr. Hisatake Kato, President of Tottori University of Environmental Studies; Professor Emeritus of Kyoto University, on 17 July 2005.
Based on the concept that "the urge to contribute is a human instinct", to seek human ways of living and how they can be put into practice.
